“ I have to admit that this place was my guilty late night pleasure when I lived in the U District. Quick, cheap and consistent! I also have to admit that I always get the same thing here, chicken drunken noodles and a side of pad thai. So maybe it's not the most amazing version of pad thai, but the drunken noodles is definitely the reason I keep coming back. Firm noodles and a nice portion of chicken all tied together with lots of peppery goodness. It's enough to be considered two meals but I have no self control so I usually eat it in one sitting. The building itself isn't anything spectacular and you can tell that college students have eaten here for years by the wear and tear on the seats. Sometimes I'll bring the siblings here but most of the time I'll get takeout. A solid meal of good portions for less than $10. They have the challenge of eating a pound of pad thai. I've watched a few people attempt, but have never seen anyone finish. They also have a buffet during the day. Since it's on the Ave, the parking is nonexistent. But we don't really need a car in Seattle do we? The staff is average and the cook staff always wears those masks. No need to panic, you don't want to inhale peppers and spice all day. ”
“ Despite the low yelp ratings, this was one of my favorite Thai places when I was still a student back in 2009. There was also a change of ownership, so I wouldn't say that all of the negative reviews reflect the current business. I also don't think that holding a restaurant accountable for another business' performance is fair. If you choose to order thru a delivery service, then you take the risk knowing there's only so much the restaurant can do- it's not their fault if your food arrives room temperature because the delivery company was late. That's between you and the delivery company. You're paying two different businesses, not just one.... Pros: - All you can eat buffet for under ten bucks - Late night 5 dollar take out small entree specials - Most regular sized entrees are around 9 bucks, while other Thai restaurants in the area charge $11+ - Open kitchen you can view them cook your food Cons: - A bit on the sweet side ”
“ Food was great! Can really taste the all of the different Thai spices in each dish, that's my favorite part of eating this type of food. Large quantities of food per order. We ordered Uber eats and was originally worried that we wouldn't like the food because the ratings were low on Yelp, but kept an open mind, since I ordered a lot of food from here. Also the ratings on Uber eats was good, and I was hoping Uber wouldn't disappoint, they didn't! We ordered: curry fried rice Yellow curry Pad se ew Swimming Rama. Peanut chicken with spinach ”
